A Simple Weight Gaining Diet Plan

It’s not at all easy to gain weight, just like losing weight isn’t easy. Contraire to popular opinion that’s very simple to gain weight just by excessively eating, you also have to take into account the harmful effects this has on your health. You have to follow a weight gaining diet which assures a calorie surplus.

Eat the following food groups if you want to gain weight in a healthy way:

  • Meat: fish, pork, beef
  • Legumes: consumed fresh, frozen, canned or juiced
  • Fruits: fresh, froze, dried or juiced
  • Cereal: bread, pasta, muffins, pancakes, rice.

Alcohol can be consumed moderately, preferably before meals because it increases the appetite. Alcohol also containins lots of calories which will help gain weight. In case you prefer fat rich (greasy) foods try using olive oil or margarine in your salads. Your free to eat fried foods any time you feel like it. Pretty cool!

Avoid caffeine and nicotine

Caffeine and nicotine are stimulants which accelerate your body’s metabolism. Avoid consuming them in exces because by doing so you’re helping your body to retain and assimilate the nutritional value of the foods you eat. Ganing weight isn't an excuse for eating unhealthy food.

Eat late at night high caloric foods

Eat at night anytime you get hungry. This way you can gain some extra pounds, but it’s important to relax after each meal so your body can assimilate the nutrients efficiently.

Sport activity: you have to work out

Yeap, even if you want to gain weight you still have to exercise. Exercising is beneficial even in weight gaining diets. Don’t worry, you won’t lose more weight! It’s important to do some muscle stretching exercises. Plus muscles weight more than fat does.

Also genetics play an important role. If your parents are slim it’ll be very hard for you to gain weight. So besides the nutritional factors there are many others that can influence the effectiveness of your weight gaining diet, like stress and anxiety. A balanced weight gaining diet, relaxation and working out will help you gain weight in a healthy way.

My advice is: be happy and eat healthy food to be healthy! Being healthy is the most important thing.

Probably this is the problem many would rather have. Gaining weight I believe is a lot easier than losing some. Thanks for sharing some good and healthy facts.
