R & B singer-songwriter Usher is not only a man with many talents, he’s also a hunk with good looks and an uber rock-hard body. The voice behind Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits "U Remind Me", "Nice and Slow" and "U Got It Bad" possesses a lean and well-toned figure any  woman would go crazy for. Here, the 32 year old, 5 foot 8 crooner shares the diet and exercise routine that made his body the finely-sculpted torso it is.

Usher.jpgUsher’s diet adheres to the principles of the low carbohydrate diet while at the same time having a balanced diet too. His diet contains chicken breast, fish, a moderate amount of carbohydrates that he gets from rice, pasta, as well as potatoes.

The low carbohydrate diet involves eating meats, cheeses, fats, and certain green leafy vegetables and avoiding sugar, white flour, and starchy vegetables to lessen the intake of any carbohydrate-rich foods.

Usher’s diet can still help in losing weight, maintaining it and building muscles as long as the foods allowable are to be consumed.

For Usher’s exercise routine, he adheres with a strict cardio exercise that he refers to as “forty minutes of funk”. His exercise routine includes stretching, skipping, jumping jacks, and 1,000 crunches that’s why he was able to achieve hard rock abs. He also does push-ups, leg raises and tricep dips.

He’s also a believer of doing exercises that are more about making use of strength to push, pull and use his own weight to stay fit and lean. Therefore, Usher’s exercise routine includes multiple sets of press ups, stability ball press ups, pull ups, bodyweight squats, jump squats, and squat thrusts. Her performances as well on stage particularly singing and dancing can help burn a lot of calories.
