Dr. McDreamy of the hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy is 45-year old actor Patrick Dempsey, tall, blue-eyed and a hunk in every sense of the word. He has starred in several hit flicks such as Sweet Home Alabama, The Emperor’s Club, Freedom Writers, Enchanted, Made of Honor, and Valentine’s Day, giving women all over the globe something to drool about everytime he appears in a scene, sporting his signature megawatt smile and fit physique. Here, he shares his tips for aging well, and how his healthy lifestyle is keeping him young.

"Cycling has done tremendous for my psyche, to get out in nature, the speed of it and the agility and stamina needed. I do a lot of running and training." He says. "Having children in my forties, I want to be healthy for them when I get older. So I’m making the right choices when it comes to food."

For Patrick Dempsey’s exercise routine, he starts with doing cardio exercises like bicycling, jogging, and the like that helps in burning 300 to 600 calories per workout. After his cardio workout, he does weight lifting for 2 to 3 hours per day that clearly helps in building muscles and toning them as well. Patrick Dempsey’s exercise is done together with his personal trainer.
